From past experience, we have found that the new members who achieve the most success, are the ones who do the following 6 easy steps early on in their membership: (Seasoned members might want to check to make sure they are covered on all 6 points)

1. Submit and continually update your contact information for our Chapter Website to our chapter secretary Marty Gillum.

Your contact info should include
a) Your category name (e.g. general construction)
b) Your business name
c) Your name
d)Telephone number
e) email address
f) website (Please contact our Website/Internet Marketing Designer Shirin Oreizy if you need a website)
g) logo (Please contact our Embroidery and Promotional Products Specialist Larry Nardi if you need a logo)
h) Picture of yourself. (Please contact our Commercial Photographer Sevtap Agabay if you need a new picture of yourself).

2. Sign up for Member Success Training (MSP) right away.

This is a class that  allows you to get the most out of your membership in BNI and you must attend it in order to participate in our weekly Speaker Presentations. The speaker presentations allow you to teach the rest of the members how to become your sales force.

3. Sign up for our Country Club BNI Yahoo Group today.

The Yahoo Group is the way we make special announcements about our individual businesses and disseminate  important BNI information that you need to make the most of your membership.

4. Get your questions answered by one of our Leadership Team Members.

BNI is probably very different from other networking and referral efforts that you may have previously participated in. And because of that, you are bound to have questions. An unanswered question could be unrealized money not in your pocket, or a missed opportunity. Learning requires that you ask questions.

5. Schedule Your First One to One with Country Club Chapter Founding Member John Fraker.

One to Ones are the way that we build the relationships we need in order to know, like and trust each other enough to refer business to each another. Make sure that John is your first one to one, so that he can share with you the fundamentals of an ideal One to One.

6. Review these BNI Basics.
